Welcome

Meet Lil Sqeek

We have some neighbors ( we love you ) who are leveling their property. Great for them but not so great for the wildlife who used to live there. A few days after the project started my Layla was playing outside and heard a sqeek. She looked down and found this tiny
round tail ground squirrel. He was very cold to the touch, sickly, and dehydrated. Of course we helped him as it seems we take in any injured or sick animal since I have worked as veterinary tech for 12 years. He is doing good on the bottle and curls up into a little ball when you hold him. It is illegal to keep wild animals as pets in the state of Arizona so when he is weaned and healthy we plan to introduce him to a new safe area to live his life naturally. We are all suckers for animals in this house. ; - )
